The ASICS Gel-Kayano 12.1 x Up There Natsukashii Green brings nostalgic running design into the modern streetwear scene with a layered finish. Inspired by “Natsukashii,” a Japanese expression linked to nostalgia, this collaboration looks back at classic ASICS design while creating something fresh. Grey mesh forms the breathable base, while glossy olive green overlays add depth, shine, and a premium feel. Small Signal Red accents provide a sharp contrast across the tongue and outsole, giving the earthy palette extra energy. Up There branding adds a distinctive collaborative touch without overwhelming the technical shape. The forefoot also receives updated mesh and fused detailing, which adds texture and strengthens the retro performance look. Its balanced mix of muted grey, green, and red makes it easy to pair with denim, cargo trousers, joggers, or everyday outfits. As a result, the Asics Gel-Kayano 12.1 x Up There Natsukashii Green feels equally suited to sneaker collections and regular rotation.

Comfort remains a major part of the design. The shoe combines GEL-KAYANO heritage with a cushioning platform based on the GEL-NIMBUS 17, creating a supportive foundation for daily wear. Dual GEL technology helps absorb impact underfoot, while the FLUIDRIDE cushioning structure delivers a comfortable feel through each step. Meanwhile, the layered mesh upper supports airflow, making the sneaker practical beyond its standout appearance. Underneath, Up There’s signature green runs through the Guidance Line, while red rubber highlights the instep and adds another detail. The result is a sneaker that connects ASICS performance history with contemporary lifestyle styling for a versatile everyday choice. Whether worn with neutral basics or used as the focal point of an outfit, the ASICS Gel-Kayano 12.1 x Up There Natsukashii Green offers distinctive colour, comfort, and a refined finish for anyone who appreciates technical footwear with a strong story.
